84th Reading (1st Earley St Peter’s) Scouts are a vibrant Scout group based in Earley, Reading. We have a Beaver colony, 2 Cub packs and 2 Scout groups. Young people get to take part in a fantastic range of activities.

We are a family friendly group and when young people join us, so do their families. We aim to include parents in as much as possible whether its helping out at weekly meetings, fundraising or just helping out with a bit of DIY at our Headquarters. Many of our adult leaders are also parents.

We aim to make life an adventure for all of our members. If you think you would like to join that adventure, why not get in touch via the join us tab above.

"Put down your phone and what are you left with? Just teamwork, courage and the skill to succeed."

"For anyone thinking of becoming a scout volunteer, I say, go for it, come and join the big adventure."

"Our volunteers get involved on their terms and not all roles involve working with young people. If you can give a little time (or a lot) to help improve young lives in your community, we'd love to hear from you."

“Volunteering changes us all for the better. Please join me.”

"I am so proud that the Scouts continues to see so many young people and adult volunteers signing up to not only have fun and experience adventures but also to learn skills for life."
